Poetry in the lovely calligraphic hand of the Portland artist and instructor Jaki Svaren. Michael Lee Marsh (1944-1991), aka the Incense Salesman, was an Oregon poet and was active at Portland State University in the early 1970's.

Jacqueline "Jaki" Svaren (Reed College, 1950) was a student of Lloyd Reynolds for many years. She is a calligraphy teacher and is recognized for having established the first calligraphy retreat in the United States.
