Hector Giacomelli (1822-1904) was a French watercolorist, engraver and illustrator, best known for his paintings of birds. He also worked with Gustave Dore, adding text ornamentation to the illustrated La Sainte Bible published by Alfred Mame in 1866.
Josephine Pollard (1834-1892) was an American hymn writer, author and poet.
