Edward Burchell Lung (1867-1956) of Tacoma, a friend of Joaquin Miller, participated in the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897-1898. This is his account, based on his diaries and as told to his daughter, Ella Lung Martinsen (1901-1977). Ella herself was born in the town of Dawson City in the Yukon Territory.
