George Edward McMahan (1926-2013) was an Oregon artist, recognized for his landscape and wildlife paintings. He was a longtime resident of Klamath Falls and taught generations of Klamath Basin artists, giving weekly classes at his Pioneer Gallery. In 1977 he was selected to paint the portrait of the then Oregon governor, Robert "Bob" Straub.
