The address is 822, but no street name is visible. Date of photograph is uncertain, but appears to be from the 1930's or early 1940s. Faint scuffs to photo surface.

Around 1908, Joesph Matthew Ditto (1866-1946) opened his business in Monte Vista in Rio Grande County, Colorado. He had been born in Iowa and, prior to moving to Monte Vista, had been a jeweler in Lincoln Park (near Canon City in Fremont County, Colorado). In 1914 he was noted to be serving on the executive committee of the Colorado State Optical Society.
