Anatolia College is a private non-profit school located in Thessaloniki. The cook book features mostly Greek recipes, including mayiritsa (Easter soup), tsipoures, plaki with haddock, mousaka, macaroni pasitsio, yiaprakia, dolmades, stuffed eggplant, lamb fricassee, soudzoukakia, kounkiar bayendi, rizogalo, kadaifi, kormos, kourabiedes, and many more.

The introduction states that Carl Compton is the Dean of Men at the school. In 1950 he became its President and held that office until 1958.
