Previous owner's name in bottom margin of title page, otherwise interior is clean. Illustrated with many historic photographs and a few maps. 100 pp, plus 11 page postscript (presenting additions and corrections to the text).

A history of Scholls, Oregon, its pioneer settlers (including the Groner family) and its early schools, churches, stores, businesses, mills, and clubs. Scholls is located in Washington County, Oregon, and is located between the cities of Hillsboro, Newberg, and Tigard.

Near the end of the volume is a poem about the Groner Women's Club activities and life in the Scholls area (including the pungent smell from the Newberg paper mill), signed by Sarah Lusardi, the poem's author.
