Bob Lind (b. 1942) is an American folk music singer-lyricist, novelist, and playwright. In 1966, his hit-single "Elusive Butterfly" reached number 5 in both the US and UK charts. Many cover versions have been recorded over the years, including those by Cher, Glen Campbell, Hugh Masekela, and Aretha Franklin.
