The quilt was made as part of the commemoration of the 101st anniversary of Waldport, Oregon. It depicts the history, folk life, and folklore of the Alsea Bay area, seen in its images of early beach transportation, logging, lumber mills, schools, churches, general stores, and the keystone block showing the Alsea Bay Bridge.
