Stewart E. White's follow-up to The Betty Book. Across the Unknown presents material transmitted by "the invisibles" through his wife Betty, a psychic medium, and which he recorded. His brother, Harwood, assisted in selecting and arranging the material for publication.
Stewart Edward White (1873-1946) was an American writer, novelist, and spiritualist. He was well known for his many books, articles, and short stories about his experiences in the mining and lumber camps and his many adventures in the outdoors. In 1904 he married Elizabeth Calvert "Betty" Grant (1879-1939), who in the early 1920s discovered that she had psychic ability.
