Memoirs of three decades of hunting sharks, packed with all kinds of shark lore and legend. Captain William Edward Young (1875-1962) hunted sharks all over the world, from the coasts of California to Hawaii, Cape Cod, the West Indies, and the Mediterranean. He began as a young sport fisherman who began angling for sharks in 1900, and by1920 had turned professional. He harvested tens of thousands of sharks over the course of his career and was recognized as the dean of all shark fishermen.
